BT COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS WINS HIGHLY COMMENDED AT BUSINESS IN THE COMMUNITY AWARDS

The BT Community Connections award scheme was recognised at the Business in the Community (BiTC) National Awards in the presence of HRH Prince Charles, winning a Big Tick and Highly Commended.

The Big Tick is awarded to UK companies who are able to demonstrate a high standard of excellence in the way they organise and integrate their socially responsible business practice.

BT Community Connections was Highly Commended in the 'BUPA Healthy Communities' category, which is contested by companies who are helping to tackle social exclusion and create sustainable, dynamic and inclusive communities.

Business in the Community's Awards for Excellence are the most prestigious awards in the UK which recognise companies who integrate responsible business practice into their mainstream operations resulting in a positive impact in the marketplace and community.
