BTCC launches in the Republic of Ireland

Chris Clark, chief executive of BT Ireland, officially launched BT Community Connections in Ireland at Beehive Crèche in Dublin. This year is the first time the award scheme has been open to community and charitable groups in the Republic of Ireland.

Mr Clark was joined by children and parents who attend the crèche at the City of Dublin YMCA. He said: “Our approach is to find new ways to help people take full advantage of the huge benefits offered by the internet. We are very proud to empower local communities by offering laptops and broadband to groups in the Republic of Ireland.”
